Privacy Policy
What personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Princeps Media LLC (“Princeps Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates princepsmedia.com and related pages (the “Site”). We provide video production and advertising services to restaurants and other businesses.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site, our scheduling tool, onboarding, and emails or calls that come from those.
If you have questions, email flavio@princepsmedia.com.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers people who:
- visit the Site
- book a call with us
- become a client or fill out an onboarding form
- email us or apply for a role
- are contacts at a restaurant or business we work with
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed at them.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Call booking. When you schedule a call, our scheduling tool (Calendly) collects information such as your name, email address, phone number, and anything you type into the invite notes.
- Onboarding and client work. If we work together, we may collect your restaurant or business name, location/market, contact details, brand assets, and access credentials or tokens for the social and advertising accounts we manage for you (for example Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok).
- Email and hiring. If you email us or apply for a role, we collect whatever you send (typically name, email, and resume or work samples).
- Messages. Anything you choose to tell us on a call, in email, or in a form.
Information collected automatically
- Site and cookies. The Site is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace may set cookies (including a session cookie) and collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL.
- Scheduling widget. The Calendly embed may set its own cookies and collect technical data so the booking tool works. Calendly shows its own cookie controls.
We do not currently run first-party advertising or analytics pixels on the Site. If we add them later, we will update this policy.
Information from others
- Calendly and Squarespace, as described above.
- You or your team, when you invite us into an ad or social account.
- Public business information, such as your restaurant’s public pages, menus, or locations, when we prepare for a call or a shoot.
We do not buy contact lists.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- schedule and hold calls
- decide whether we can take you on as a client
- produce content, refresh pages, and run or manage advertising for clients
- access and operate the social and ad accounts you authorize
- send service emails (scheduling, onboarding, invoices, project updates)
- respond to hiring inquiries
- operate, secure, and fix the Site
- comply with law and enforce our agreements
We do not use your information to sell you third-party products. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If we later send marketing email to people who are not clients, we will only do that with a valid consent or another lawful basis, and every message will include our physical address and a working unsubscribe. We do not send marketing SMS unless you give separate, written consent that meets TCPA rules.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run the business:
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Squarespace | Hosts the Site and related cookies |
| Calendly | Runs the call scheduler |
| Payment and operations tools we use for invoicing or contracts (for example, if we bill you through a payment processor) | Charge fees and keep records |
| Contractors (editors, shooters, or specialists working on your account) | Deliver the work, under our direction |
| Platforms you authorize (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and similar) | Publish content and manage the accounts you give us access to |
| Professional advisers and authorities | Legal, accounting, or if the law requires it |
| A buyer of the business | If we sell or merge the company, with notice where the law requires it |
Those companies have their own privacy policies. We do not let them use your information to market their own products to you.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Account access
Some services require access to your social or advertising accounts. We use that access only to do the work you hired us for (posting, page updates, ads, reporting). We do not change billing on those accounts, transfer the page, or use your audience for anyone else.
When the engagement ends, we will drop access if you ask, and you should also revoke it on the platform.
Treat passwords and admin roles carefully. Prefer inviting us as a partner or admin over sending a password. If you do send a password, change it after we are set up.
6. Cookies and “Do Not Track”
The Site uses cookies that are needed for hosting and the booking widget. The Squarespace cookie banner is not currently on.
Your browser may send a Do Not Track signal. The Site does not respond to DNT signals in a special way. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features (including booking) may not work.
Calendly’s cookie settings are controlled in Calendly’s widget or site, not ours.
7. How long we keep information
- Call bookings: as long as we need them to follow up and keep basic business records (typically up to 24 months if you do not become a client).
- Client files, account access, and invoices: for the life of the project and as long as tax, contract, or legal rules require after that.
- Job applications: usually up to 12 months unless we hire you or you ask us to delete sooner.
- Site logs / cookies: per Squarespace and Calendly’s retention.
We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (access limits, trusted hosts, and need-to-know sharing). No internet transmission is fully secure. Do not send passwords in unsecured email if you have another option.
9. Your choices
You can:
- skip the Site or the scheduler
- decline to become a client
- ask us to correct or delete information we hold, where the law allows
- unsubscribe from marketing email if we ever send it
- revoke platform access yourself
Email flavio@princepsmedia.com. We will need enough information to find your record and make sure it is you.
10. California notice (CalOPPA and CCPA/CPRA)
We collect the categories of personal information listed in section 2: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (services you inquire about or buy), internet activity (pages viewed, cookies), professional information (business name, role, accounts), and audiovisual content you give us for production.
We collect it for the uses in section 3. We disclose it to the service providers and parties in section 4.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not offer a financial incentive for your data.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to you and to us, you may have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. You (or an authorized agent) can email flavio@princepsmedia.com. We will verify the request before we act. We will not require you to create an account just to make it.
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
If we ever start selling or sharing personal information, we will post a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
11. Other US state privacy laws
Residents of states with their own consumer privacy laws (including, where they apply, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing. Email flavio@princepsmedia.com. If a law does not apply to us because of its size or data thresholds, we will still try to honor a reasonable request.
12. International visitors
We are a United States company. If you visit the Site from another country, your information is processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country.
13. Links and embedded tools
The Site may link to or embed third-party tools (including Calendly and social platforms). Their collection is governed by their policies, not this one.

- Calendly: https://calendly.com/privacy
14. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, if the change is material, we will post a notice on the Site or email you when we have your address.
